Built for billable hours

What you get
01

One click from the menu bar

Pick a project, name the task, hit Start. The timer runs in your menu bar so you always know the clock is on.

02

Earnings, live

Set an hourly rate per project and watch what you’ve earned update every second, not at the end of the month.

03

Every session, logged

Pause, resume, stop. Each session lands in a clean ledger with times, duration and amount.

04

Your week at a glance

A 7-day chart shows where your hours went, project by project.

05

Billing summaries

Tick the projects you’re billing and get combined hours and totals as a summary you can copy into the invoice tool you already use.

06

Private by default

No account, no cloud sync, no tracking. Your projects and sessions are saved on your Mac.

Billing

From timer to billing summary in one click.

Select the projects you’re billing this month. FlowTrack adds up the hours, applies each rate, and gives you a total you can paste into Stripe, QuickBooks, a doc or an email.

Questions

FAQ
Which Macs does it run on?

This download runs on Apple Silicon Macs (M1 or later) with macOS 14 Sonoma or later.

Where is my data stored?

On your Mac. FlowTrack saves your projects and sessions locally and doesn’t need an account.

What does beta mean?

FlowTrack is still being improved. Rachel actively uses it for her own freelance work. Buy the current beta for $24.99 as a one-time purchase.

How do I download it?

After payment, Polar gives you access to FlowTrack-1.0.dmg in its customer portal and sends an email with your purchase access. Open the DMG and drag FlowTrack to Applications.

Is it a subscription?

No. Pay $24.99 USD once for the beta. Sales tax may be added at checkout.

Does it create invoices?

No. FlowTrack creates billing summaries, not invoices: select projects and it combines hours, rates and amounts into one total you can copy into your invoicing tool.

Will macOS warn me when I open it?

FlowTrack is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple. macOS may ask you to confirm opening an app downloaded from the internet.
